Fern House is in the heart of Havering, surrounded by beautiful homes and historic buildings. It is located close to the town centre, tube line and other local amenities. Fern House is a complete renovation project, It was specially designed with physical disabilities in mind. With 4 large bedrooms, all with personal wet rooms and easy accessible communal areas, this house is an absolute dream. 

Upstairs there is a separate office, sleep room and bathroom for the staff team, in total we can accommodate up to four service user’s

All locations operate using the highest level of technology available. This ensures we are working as ‘paperless’ as possible, and that all of our records are kept digitally, and most of all secure. This eliminates any issues surrounding GDPR processes as well as ensuring records are easily accessible when required. This does two very important things; 1: We look after the environment by reducing our impact in every way possible. 2: having less paper and office type materials around creates a more homely environment for the service users, eliminating the feeling of an office.

Each service user is given their own secure device for their staff team to use and this is where their support plans, daily notes, daily charts, appointments, handovers and so much more are kept.

We offer 24 hour staffing and security, including encouragement, teaching and personal care support from highly experienced staff. Our aim and focus is to ensure the people we support are given the skills to be independent.

Living Arrangements

Coastal Supported Living are passionate about individuals having complete choice and control over their daily lives. To ensure this happens we assist the people we support and their circle of support to be actively involved in matching potential new housemates and the recruitment of any new staff. We have an experienced management team that will find like-minded people with similar interests, ambitions and hobbies, we will then arrange regular meetings to ensure all parties are happy and want to share a home together.

Once all parties are happily matched, we create a personalised transitional pathway from start to finish to ensure that the process of moving is personalised and paced to suit to specific needs of everyone that lives within the property.
