What We Do

Coastal Supported Living was built on the vision that all lives have value. Our values are based on inclusion, choice and participation in all areas of community life, including living independently.

People with a learning disability and/or autism or behaviours classed as challenging  have the right to the same opportunities as anyone else. and to live and be treated with dignity and respect.

It can be a difficult decision for families and carers to find the right support solutions for their adult children. Our specialist Supported Living service creates a bespoke service with the understanding that every individual is unique.  We have a range of ensuites, self contained apartments, shared homes, wheelchair accessible homes and if a home needs to be remodelled we will do it.

We are committed to investing in our service users, staff and homes. Each home is uniquely designed to meet the specific needs of a person and to facilitate focused care and support. We provide a range of different service models and pathways to achieve this including

We offer Specialised Care and Support that …

  • Promotes Personal Responsibility
  •  Re-establishes Lost Skills
  • Encourages the Development of New Skills
  • Focusses on the Individual’s Strengths and Abilities.

We promote active participation with daily living. We assist and encourage our service user’s to do as much as they can for themselves, this includes; meal preparation, housework, shopping, self hygiene and much more. By encouraging and supporting individuals to use these life skills, we are ensuring that they can live independently and most importantly be empowered to take control of  their own lives.

Although we encourage this support model, we are also there to ultimately be a source of safety, security and support 24hours a day, whenever an individual needs us.
